IMPACT Behavioral Health

IMprove Perinatal Access, Coordination and Treatment to Behavioral Health (IMPACT BH) was established in 2022 to support the continuum of care for the perinatal population by facilitating collaboration among community, outpatient, inpatient, and technical support to provide the best care and outcomes for parenting people and babies.  IMPACT BH focuses on a specific geographic region to maximize collaboration among community partners and to bring together a community to care for pregnant and postpartum people and their families.   

Funded by Colorado Behavioral Health Administration, Early Milestones Colorado and private philanthropic partners.   

IMPACT BH Project Partners

  • Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC) serves as lead agency
  • Technical Support partners and roles include:
    • Contexture provides Community convening Lead
    • Hard Beauty provides peer recovery specialist support
    • Stader Opioid Consultants provides Naloxone and training support
    • University of Colorado’s Practice Innovation Program provides clinics with practice facilitation
  • Community partners and community organizations – varies depending on which region and can include local health departments, local agency to help with navigation, peers/peer organizations, child protection services and any other engaged community organization.
