The University of Colorado School of Medicine believes that diversity is a value that is central to its educational, research, service, and health care missions.

Faculty Diversity and Inclusion Committee

The Department of Pediatrics is committed to creating a diverse environment for students, residents, fellows, and faculty.

Our Faculty Diversity and Inclusion Committee seeks to promote the recruitment, retention, professional excellence and the overall well-being of exceptional junior, mid-career, and senior faculty who reflect the diversity that is pediatrics and will help us grow the professional and cultural experience of the Department.

Externship Stipend

In order to lessen the burden of cost associated with doing a visiting student/externship rotation, the Department of Pediatrics funds an externship stipend for 4th-year medical students interested in serving the medically underserved pediatric population. For more information, please visit our Externship Stipend page.
