Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Research Prioritization

The Pediatric Research Network (PEDnet) and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Research Network (DBPNet) collaborating to determine Research Prioritization for individuals with IDD.  Children’s Hospital Colorado is one of the 5 sites that have both research networks.

This study concentrates on individual with the diagnoses of: autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disability (ID), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disability (LD), communication disorder.

We are seeking information from individuals with IDD, their parents, clinicians, and research scientists about their views on what should be prioritized in IDD research. We wish to obtain information from:

  • Minors: Between the ages 13-18 years.
  • Young adults:  Between 19-24 years.
  • Parents: Have a child with one of the noted diagnoses, although their child cannot be enrolled in the study.
  • Clinicians or Research Scientists in the field of IDD.

All participants must be able to read and write comfortably in English and must be comfortable using a computer or smart device.  There also is the Recruitment Manual below that provides detailed info if you wish to review it.  Flyers are available below for each of these groups, with information about how to complete these surveys.

We appreciate your consideration and hope you are able participate.

Thank you!
