Megan Petterson, OTD received her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Creighton University, completing the program through the distance pathway associated with Regis University in Denver, CO. Prior to beginning graduate school, she worked as a preschool teacher in a classroom of children with typical needs as well as those with special needs including global delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, chromosomal abnormalities, and cerebral palsy, etc. Megan completed a LEND fellowship with JFK Partners in 2022-23 where she built her clinical skills with the pediatric population, gained experience in feeding and sensory-based interventions, and solidified skills in the administration of formal assessments to evaluate individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Megan is also passionate about discovering more ways to support the entire family system to provide an even stronger client-centered approach. As an instructor, Megan continues to provide occupational therapy services through the transdisciplinary ENRICH early intervention team, as well as the interdisciplinary neurodevelopmental evaluation team through JFK Partners/Developmental Pediatrics.
