Susan L. Johnson, PhD, BS, Biology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; MS, Nutritional Sciences, Pennsylvania State University; PhD, Nutritional Sciences, University of Illinois; T32 Post Doc, Pediatrics/Nutrition, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Johnson, Professor of Pediatrics, is the Nutrition Discipline Director for the JFK Partners' Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Grant. She performs research in the area of nutrition and child feeding in children with disabilities; mentors fellows and students interested in this area; and provides continuing education related to the role of nutrition as one of the content areas of multidisciplinary care for children and families with disabilities. She serves as the Principal Investigator for the Children's Eating Lab (CEL) which conducts studies on the factors that influence the development of children's eating behaviors and growth. Most studies conducted at the CEL focus on families with children birth to five years of age.
