We are delighted to bring together the Colorado Infectious Diseases Community, including physicians, researchers, public health officials, pharmacists, advanced practice practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, for an engaging and informative conference. This event is dedicated to fostering collaboration, disseminating cutting-edge research, and discussing the latest advancements in the field of infectious diseases. Our collective aim is to advance learning, enhance collegiality, and improve health outcomes for patients in Colorado. 


Learning Objectives: 

• Identify the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of challenging syphilis and sexually transmitted infection cases.

• Identify a patient-centered management plan for persons with HIV and complex comorbidities based on updated trials. 

• Identify appropriate diagnostic testing measures and treatment management for persons with tuberculosis.

• Identify updated guidelines for diagnostic and treatment approaches for complex gram negative infections with resistance including AmpC producers.

• Apply updated global health statistics to assess risk factors for tropical infections.
