Perceived Palliative Care Needs in Early-Onset Dementia
Adults with Younger Onset Dementia Needed for Quality of Life Research
This research will help us understand the healthcare needs which affect quality of life for individuals with early onset dementia and their caregivers.
This study involves one in-person or telephone interview lasting one hour with participants and their caregivers and includes discussions of:
- Illness-related symptoms
- Stress related to your diagnosis
- Quality of life
- Caregiver strain
- Spiritual well-being
- Care planning
- NOTE: The presence of a caregiver is not required for participation
You may qualify if you are:
- 18 years or older
- Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or Frontotemporal dementia
- Have symptoms that began before the age of 65
