Clinical Dosimetry Training

We are a clinical training site for the University of Wisconsin La Crosse’s Dosimetry Training Program, hosting one dosimetry student at any given time. The dosimetry student will have the opportunity to gain in-depth skills on the Eclipse Treatment Planning System and the ARIA record and verify system. The dosimetry student will undergo thorough training on all aspects of clinical dosimetry. Our hospital provides a wide variety of different treatment techniques, and the dosimetry student will be trained in special procedures such as brachytherapy, total body irradiation, total skin irradiation, supine CSI, deep inspiration breath-hold breast, gated planning, and SBRT treatments.
