Many former student representatives have chosen remain on the board after graduation. Today we are spotlighting Class of 2025 Student Representative Axel Bonde.

Where did you complete your undergraduate studies, and what did you study?
Exercise Science at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs
What drew you to the physical therapy profession and the CU Physical Therapy Program?
Physical therapists themselves.
What made you interested in joining the CU Physical Therapy Alumni Association?
I joined the CU PTAA to facilitate interaction between my cohort and practicing CU alumni who possess a wealth of knowledge. I believe that the PTAA functions in an important role in shaping the next generation of physical therapists.
What do you enjoy most about serving on the CU PTAA?
Collaborating with Gabbi to bring exciting new opportunities to our cohort has been the most rewarding aspect of being a student PTAA member.
What has surprised you most about physical therapy school?
I have been surprised most by the amazing friendships I have made in only a short period of time. I believe the friendships I have made in school will last a lifetime.
What are your professional goals after you complete physical therapy school?
After graduation I anticipate pursuing a residency in sports physical therapy. My dream is to work with tactical and professional athletes at the highest levels of their respective fields.
