Dr. Jason Friedrich is a physiatrist at UCHealth. His clinical interests include diagnosis and non-operative management of spinal disorders, musculoskeletal injuries and peripheral nerve injuries. When necessary, he performs electrodiagnostic testing (nerve studies) and spinal or other injections to help figure out the source of the problem, to reduce pain, while providing guidance on therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation. He treats both athletes and non-athletes and individualizes treatments with a goal of reducing pain and improving physical function. He believes exercise is medicine and works with individuals to create treatment plans to improve physical function, whether it be recovery from an acute injury or functioning better despite a chronic condition.
