I want to thank you for your interest in our program and to wish you the very best in your future career as a Physiatrist.  Deciding on a residency program is a daunting and exciting time for every medical student.  Let me know if we can help along the way.  I look forward to working with you someday in the future (hopefully, here!).

Welcome to the Residency Training Program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. This information is for prospective residents and medical students interested in our residency program.

We offer a broad residency experience across multiple award-winning clinical sites across the metro Denver area, with exposure to all aspects of Physiatric care.  Residents begin with us as PGY-2s after completion of a transitional year. At this time, we do not offer a categorical (PGY1) slot at our program. 

We also offer a combined Pediatrics/PM&R combined residency.  These highly qualified applicants will complete the program will be board-eligible for both PM&R and Pediatrics.  This is a joint offering between the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Department of Pediatrics.
