Global Health Certificate Track

Medical Education Track
- 12-month curriculum, emphasizing:
- Study and understand adult learning
- Strategies to optimize teaching tools
- Create a medical-based curriculum
- Update a didactic block within your clinical interest
- Additional courses are available within CU at large for residents to partake in on a case-by-case basis.
Mentorship:
- Assigned Pairings: New PGY-2s are paired with a faculty and PGY-3 mentor based on personal and clinical interests.
- Subspecialty Interest Groups: All residents are encouraged to join a subspecialty interest group of their clinical interest within PM&R to facilitate early exploration, encourage peer collaboration, promote early involvement in extracurricular activities, and provide fellowship and/or career guidance. Groups are led by senior residents, with attending physicians and fellows serving as mentors. Subspecialty areas include:
- Pain/NASS
- Sports Medicine
- Neurorehabilitation
- Pediatric Rehabilitation
- Mentorship is also always available non-formally by our welcoming, approachable, and dedicated faculty, fellows, and co-residents.
