Congratulations to PM&R Drs. Claire Hoffmire and Nate Mohatt, who along with Dr. Monteith (also from the Rocky Mountain MIRECC for Veteran Suicide Prevention) are part of a team led by Drs. DeBeer (VA VISN 17 Center of Excellence) and Benzer (Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research, VA Boston Healthcare System, Boston, MA) who received notice of funding for a Patient Safety Center of Inquiry VA Suicide Prevention Collaborative (PSCI-VASPC). “The overarching mission of the PSCI-VASPC [will be] to develop, implement, and evaluate practical solutions to reduce suicide among Veterans who are not receiving VA care.”
