CU PM&R Welcomes Dr. Greg Arends
Zachary Noriega, MPA | Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation/CU School of Medicine Oct 11, 2022The CU Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is excited to announce that Dr. Gregory Arends joined the CU PM&R faculty on October 1, 2022. He will be practicing at the CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center in Boulder, CO, as well as a new location in Longmont, Colorado. During his many years in community-based private practice in Boulder County, he has provided high-level spine and musculoskeletal care, and he will continue to do so with CU.
Dr. Arends attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) at Northwestern University, as well as an Interventional Spine fellowship in 2000. Dr. Arends relocated to Boulder in 2003 and works closely with area specialists providing expert spine care throughout the Boulder community.
Dr. Arends specializes in spinal diagnostics and injection procedures, and hopes to expand CU Medicine spine care with all of the allied spine care specialists. We know that Dr. Arends will bring considerable expertise to our department.
