Wendy Kriekels, PT, DPT, NCS is a Senior Instructor in the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Kriekels earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 1991 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 2009. Dr. Kriekels has extensive experience in treating individuals with neurologic disorders and obtained certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties from 2002 until the present. Dr. Kriekels became a core faculty member in 2009 and currently develops, leads and teaches the 3-semester track of neuromuscular conditions courses in the University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program. Dr. Kriekels supplements her teaching with clinical practice in the multidisciplinary clinic for individuals with Parkinson Disease at the University of Colorado Health, Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion.
