Dr. Colbert is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist and Rehabilitation Psychologist in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Colbert’s clinical interests include working with patients diagnosed with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injury, and neurodevelopmental disorders. She is also particularly interested in early childhood and cross-cultural research. Her primary role is on the inpatient rehabilitation unit, though she also conducts outpatient neuropsychological assessments and evidence-based treatment. Dr. Colbert is primarily involved in the training of interns, but also supervises postdoctoral fellows and externs. Dr. Colbert received her Bachelor’s degrees (Psychology and Spanish) from Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Health Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. Dr. Colbert completed an internship in Rehabilitation Psychology, as well as a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
