Medical students currently enrolled at the University of Colorado School of Medicine may sign up for an elective Ophthalmology rotation by registering for OPHT 8000.
Medical students at accredited US Medical Schools interested in an Ophthalmology elective in our department should become familiar with the requirements set forth by Student Affairs and apply through VSLO. The availability of rotations is limited.
Undergraduate students interested in healthcare professions should contact the CU Undergraduate Pre-Health Program.
The ophthalmology residency program at University of Colorado focuses on the development of outstanding clinical and surgical skills. Our residents experience is both broad and deep, with extensive exposure to the evaluation and management of both common and rare ophthalmic diseases.
The Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center offers a broad range of sub-specialty fellowship programs, allowing for active involvement in patient care, surgical training, and research experiences across our five affiliated locations.
