Our 2000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art cell culture facility comprises two experimental suites, one transgenic suite, a quarantine room and a training room. Each of these designated rooms is equipped with biosafety cabinets (totaling 16 BSC), C02 and tri-gas cell culture incubators (allowing for 22 double stack cell culture incubators at full capacity), inverted diascopic and epi-fluorescent microscopes, and other pieces of equipment.
The CellSight culture facility is located contiguous to the wet lab space, and it has been designed as a shared facility for all investigators participating in the program, fostering a synergistic and dynamic collaborative environment that enables and promotes the outcomes that are hallmarks of the best catalyzers of breakthrough innovation.
CellSight is housed within the Vision Research Center at the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center and is located in the Research Complex 1 North Tower at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
CellSight facilities are across the street from the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center and the Gates Biomanufacturing Facility, creating a unique synergistic environment for translating bench discoveries into clinical treatments.
