Ophthalmology Education

Our department offers competitive Residency and Fellowship programs and training for medical students. We also provide continuing education opportunities through conferences, events, grand rounds, and an annual symposium.

Fellowship Program

The Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center offers a broad range of sub-specialty fellowship programs, allowing for active involvement in patient care, surgical training, and research experiences across our five affiliated locations.

Residency Program

The ophthalmology residency program at the University of Colorado focuses on the development of outstanding clinical and surgical skills. Our residents' experience is broad and deep, with extensive exposure to the evaluation and management of common and rare ophthalmic diseases.

Medical Student Program

The Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center offers opportunities for medical students, including ophthalmology electives, research opportunities and visiting rotations.
