One of the goals of the HI3, and HIMSR, is to connect our membership to the full scope of laboratory services offered on the Anschutz medical campus. Listed below are Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) resources that may be utilized to extend the scope of your clinical immune monitoring studies. Exsera Biolabs within the School of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology on the University of Colorado Anshutz medical campus is a CAP, CLIA, GCP (Good Clinical Practice), GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)

The Colorado Molecular Correlates Laboratory (CMOCO) within Anatomic Pathology on the University of Colorado Anshutz medical campus is a CAP, CLIA accredited laboratory offering specific cancer gene and mutational analysis. The Barbara Davis Center (BDC) Autoantibody/HLA Service Center is a CLIA certified laboratory and has been designated as a NIH/NIDDK North America Autoantibody/HLA Core Laboratory offering cutting edge harmonized assays for GAD65 and IA-2 autoantibodies and a newly developed non-radioactive autoantibody assay method with electrochemiluminescence (ECL) technology. The Clinical Laboratory of the University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz medical campus is an accredited laboratory offering a variety of immunology-related tests, including but not limited to, CD34+ stem cell counts, various lymphocyte subset counts (CD4+/CD8+ T cells, etc.), and multiple antibody panels for diagnosis of leukemias, lymphomas, and related hematologic neoplasms. The Hirsch Biomarker Analysis Laboratory on the Anschutz medical campus is a CLIA accredited laboratory offering IHC, silver in situ hybridization (SISH)/chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH), mRNA-ISH, Proximity Ligation Assay (PLA), Pathology review, scoring and cut-off determination. The Colorado Genetics Laboratory within the School of Medicine, Department of Pathology on the University of Colorado Anshutz medical campus is a CAP, CLIA accredited laboratory offering prenatal testing, postnatal testing, cancer testing, tissue testing, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and chromosomal microarray. The iC42 Bioanalytical Service Center​ within the School of Medicine, Department of Pathology on the University of Colorado Anshutz medical campus is a CAP, CLIA, GLP accredited laboratory offering a clinical research and development facility that combines quantitative mass spectrometry (drugs, drug metabolites, other small molecules and large molecules, endogenous compounds), metabolic and protein profiling technologies in a regulatory compliant environment. The Diagnostic Immunology Laboratory within the School of Medicine on the University of Colorado Anshutz medical campus is a CLIA accredited laboratory offering Lymphocyte proliferation assays (LPA), Interferon gamma Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSPOT assays (IFNγ ELISPOT), and Hemagglutination-inhibition (HI) assays (HIA). The Clinimmune Histocompatibility Laboratory on the Anschutz medical campus is a CAP, CLIA, ASHI accredited laboratory offering HLA-A, B, C, DRB, DQ, DPB1 loci genetic testing, HLA antibody detection, and KIR genotyping and phenotyping. The Clinimmune Stem Cell Laboratory on the Anschutz medical campus is a Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and CLIA accredited laboratory that provides hematopoietic stem cell processing for the University of Colorado Hospital Bone Marrow Transplantation Program.

The University of Colorado Cord Blood Bank (UCCBB)​, a major component of ClinImmune Labs, provides collecting, processing, banking and distributing of cord blood for human transplantation. The UCCBB is accredited by AABB and licensed by the FDA. ClinImmune Labs provides HLA high resolution DNA typing, hematopoietic stem cell processing, flow cytometry and regulatory oversight to the cord blood bank and all cord blood units are processed in a Class 10000 cGMP processing facility.

The Children’s Hospital Colorado Laboratory on the Anschutz medical campus is a CAP, CLIA, AABB, FDA accredited laboratory offering a variety of clinical services. Please visit the website test directory for the current and full list of services available.

The Children’s Hospital Colorado CTRC (Clinical & Translational Research Centers) Core Lab on the Anschutz medical campus is a CAP, CLIA accredited laboratory offering Luminex multiplexed biomarkers (cytokines, chemokines, etc.), UPLC, HPLC, chemiluminescence, nepholometry, western blot, and RIA analysis. The Advanced Diagnostics Laboratory​ at National Jewish Health is a CAP, CLIA accredited laboratory offering assay design, development and validation, immune response testing (immune cell function, antibody activity, phosphor flow to measure kinase cascade activity, inflammatory response, complement activation and inhibition), metal hypersensitivity, and mycobacteriology.
