DRC members have the opportunity to keep up-to-date on the cutting edge diabetes research on campus by attending a number of basic and clinical research seminars.
Of note, the DRC hosts a seminar series together with the Barbara Davis Center which features talks from noted clinical, translational and basic researchers from across campus and around the country.
The DRC Seminar Series for the fall of 2020 will be held virtually on Fridays at 12pm.
The annual Diabetes Research Symposium brings researchers throughout the diabetes community together to discuss the cutting-edge diabetes research on campus. Highlights include an engaging poster session and the John Hutton Memorial lecture given by a distinguished researcher in the diabetes field.
Klaus Kaestner, PhD, Thomas and Evelyn Suor Butterworth Professor in Genetics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, gave the 2020 John Huttion Memorial Lecture at the annual Diabetes Day Symposium on March 6, 2020.
