    Who Directs and Distributes CoPARC Data and Samples?

    • CoPARC Steering Committee

    Requirements for Receiving CoPARC Samples and Data

    • Necessary regulatory (IRB) approval will be required for proposed projects prior to sites receiving samples or data.
    • The CoPARC Steering Committee may request modifications or clarifications of the proposed protocol prior to its approval based on their review. 
    • All data generated through the resources of this consortium will be uploaded to the consortium's main data set in a timely fashion, but may not be accessed without approval from the CoPARC Steering Committee.

    Prioritization of CoPARC Sample and Data Distribution

    The committee will make every effort to honor all requests.

    • Availability of needed samples and its ease of acquisition
    • Quantity and type of samples needed
    • Timeframe that investigator requests to receive samples
    • Quantity and type of samples previously given to the site
    • Study design of proposed experiments with samples
    • Funding available to requesting investigator(s) to conduct the project

    Samples Available from Other Consortium Members

    Consortium sites that have samples available for sharing. Those sites will update CoPARC with the number and type of samples quarterly so that CoPARC team members can facilitate the shipment of samples from those sites to the requesting investigator(s).
