Dr. Vera Staley completed her medical school training at University of Colorado. She then stayed at University of Colorado for her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency training. She is now finishing a one-year fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in New Jersey. She will be returning to Denver after completing her fellowship and will be starting as a staff Physiatrist at Denver Health this summer. She will be providing inpatient care, acute care consults, and outpatient care to all patients with rehabilitation needs. She is particularly interested in spasticity management, spinal cord injury care and improved quality of life after a traumatic injury as well as medical education. Outside of work, she enjoys eating great food, running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and pup.
