Ashley McCann received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University (Illinois) in 2016. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy (2023) and a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200, 2018). Her clinical experience includes acute care rehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy, serving civilian and active-duty populations with orthopedic and neurologic conditions.
Dr. McCann joined the Marcus Institute for Brain Health (MIBH) in 2018, where her clinical practice focuses on interdisciplinary, neurologic and vestibular-visual rehabilitation for Veterans, active-duty Service Members, and First Responders with persistent symptoms following mild to moderate traumatic brain injury. She values the collaborative, interdisciplinary model of care at MIBH and believes this team-based approach enhances patient experience and outcomes. At MIBH she has had opportunities to participate in scholarly and research activities related to mild traumatic brain injury care. In 2025, she helped establish the MIBH Physical Therapy Clinical Education Program and currently serves as the Site Coordinator of Clinical Education and a Clinical Instructor for CU PT students.
