Vera Staley, MD is the PM&R division chief at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, CO and is an Associate Program Director and an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado PM&R Program. She completed her medical school training at University of Colorado, her PM&R residency at University of Colorado and her Spinal Cord Injury Medicine fellowship at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She currently works at Denver Health Medical Center providing acute care PM&R consults and outpatient care to patients with rehabilitation needs. She is particularly interested in spasticity management, spinal cord injury care and improved quality of life after a traumatic injury as well as medical education. Outside of work, she enjoys eating great food, running, hiking, and spending time with her family.
