Dr. Steven Federico is the new Chief Government and Community Affairs Officer at Denver Health. Dr. Federico is currently the Director of General Pediatrics and School and Community Programs, and is an Associate Professor of General Pediatrics at the University of Colorado. He will lead government relations efforts in better establishing partnerships with and advocating to local, city, state and federal leaders and organizations on behalf of Denver Health.

Dr. Sonja O’Leary, medical director of Denver Health's school-based health program, has agreed to serve as interim Director of Service for General Pediatrics, effective January 1.
Ronald J. Sokol, MD, has been named a University of Colorado Distinguished Professor, one of only 136 across the four CU campuses since 1977.

Resident Research Day celebrates the research accomplishments of our residents and their faculty mentors. Many of our residents participate in mentored-research projects, which are presented at Grand Rounds and displayed on poster boards at the Spring Poster Session.
