A former All-America distance runner and lifelong marathoner caring for athletes and active patients across Denver.
Dr. Marissa Jamieson is an orthopedic foot and ankle specialist and Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado.
She graduated cum laude from Rice University with a BA in Kinesiology–Sports Medicine, then attended medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at The Ohio State University, serving as Chief Resident, and stayed on for a year in general orthopedics — trauma, foot and ankle, and joint replacement.
Dr. Jamieson completed her foot and ankle fellowship at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, training under Dr. Thomas Clanton and Dr. Thomas Haytmanek.
Outside the clinic she's with her husband and two children — hiking, biking, running, skiing, and the Colorado mountains.
