Taking the Stage at the SGIM and SHM Conferences
Apr 21, 2022The beginning of April turned out to a very busy, productive month for the CU Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM) Team! Over 45 members of our team traveled to Nashville, TN and Orlando, FL for two national conferences for hospitalists around the country.
Society of General Internal Medicine Annual Conference
Orlando, Florida | April 6-9
From presentations on Quality Improvement Leadership Track to posters on Innovative Use of Telehealth, our team was proud to share their work with the internal medicine community. The SGIM conference highlighted building a successful and sustainable generalist workforce. This included everything from encouraging discovery, advocating for health equity, and promoting the impact of generalists as leaders in the future of health care.
We were thrilled by the dedication of our team with their hard work on their research posters and sharing their knowledge with fellow clinicians!
Society of Hospital Medicine Converge Conference
Nashville, Tennessee | April 7-10
Hospitalists came alive at the SHM Converge conference this year! Our faculty presented on items like disaster preparedness, the value of rapid qualitative research and general updates in hospital medicine. We also celebrated with our faculty receiving three different awards. Check out the press releases on the awards below:
- Marisha Burden, MD | SHM Clinical Leadership for Physicians Award
