We host a monthly Division of Hospital Medicine Journal Club that aims to develop skills in critical appraisal of
literature. Each month a different practitioner has the opportunity to present a piece (or a few pieces) of literature to the attendees. They are required to bring 3-5 learning objectives for the session and participate in open discussion about the literature they're presenting. This sessions cover a wide variety of topics from rates of intrahospital DVT's, to clinical decision making. Our hope through the Journal Club is to provide practitioners with current literature in order to
facilitate exceptional care rooted in evidence-based medicine. This program is a Continuing Medical Education (CME) approved activity.
