About this August 2026 Issue
There’s plenty to celebrate in this edition. Nine DHM hospitalists earned promotions, while faculty and staff received recognition from organizations including the Society of Hospital Medicine, Association of American Physicians, American College of Physicians, and CU Anschutz Department of Medicine.
Our Hospitalist Highlight features the Health Innovation Scholars Program (HISP), which welcomed six medical students from across the country this summer. Working alongside DHM faculty and health system leaders, the scholars explored opportunities to scale street medicine across the Denver metro area and improve access to follow-up care for people experiencing homelessness.
