Dean's Weekly Message

December 16, 2024

Dear Colleague:

It’s the holiday season and we at the School of Medicine have so much to celebrate!

Joining the CU Anschutz community has been a treasure beyond compare and I’m so grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received here this year. I’m inspired by the dedication of our faculty, staff, students, and trainees and the support from our partners.

Our campus is truly a place of endless possibilities!

We have been focusing our efforts on creating a bountiful future for all, and I am so excited to be working together on a framework that we will be putting in place in 2025. We are poised for a prosperous new year!

I hope that this holiday season is a time of peace and joy for you and everyone you care about. Use this time to seek clarity of purpose, to renew your commitments, and to strengthen your bonds with one another. Together, we are going to great places!

The Dean’s Message will be taking a holiday break and will return on Monday, January 13.

Have a good week,

John H. Sampson, MD, PhD, MBA
Richard D. Krugman Endowed Chair
