Taylor Clarkson

My name is Taylor and I am a professional research assistant with the Division of Urology! My project focuses on the relationship between demyelination in the spinal cord and lower urinary tract dysfunction in multiple sclerosis. In addition to this, I am also working towards a Master’s of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. I hope to one day study disease ecology in wildlife populations to help with conservation efforts and zoonotic spillover prevention.

When I’m not in the lab or studying, I love doing anything that gets me outside! Whether its skiing in the winter or backpacking in the summer, I am happiest when I am outside exploring.
