Research Services Professional
My name is Ali Teimouri, and I work with the urologic oncology research team at the University of Colorado. I will collaborate with Nicolas Cost, MD, Associate Professor, Co-Director of the Surgical Oncology Program at CHCO, and CU Cancer Center member. I joined the team with experience working with a private California-based medical organization where I contributed to developing the research programs for the genitourinary prosthetics and plastic surgery teams as a clinical researcher and surgical assistant. I received my medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Mashhad, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran, in 2019.
My research interests include personalized medicine in cancer therapy, using patients' genomes and tumor gene sequences to determine effective treatment and chemotherapy agent dosage. I am also interested in current and future research strategies to minimize cancer treatment's effects.
I enjoy photography, biking, and hiking during my free time, and I look forward to exploring these hobbies in beautiful Colorado.
