Research Services Professional
My name is Ali Teimouri, and I am a highly motivated medical graduate from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. I am currently working with the Urology research team at the prestigious University of Colorado, where I am gaining invaluable experience in the field of urology.
Driven by my passion for urology, I aspire to continue my education through a residency program in the field. Working alongside Nicolas Cost, MD, Associate Professor, Co-Director of the Surgical Oncology Program at CHCO, and CU Cancer Center member, I am actively seeking to expand my knowledge and expertise in urologic oncology.
My research interests include the personalized treatment of urologic oncology patients using genome sequencing and tumor gene profiling to determine effective treatment, chemotherapy agent dosage, and the effects of chemotherapy on lower urinary tract function. I am also excited to explore novel research strategies, including the use of murine models, for translational studies in urology.
When I'm not immersed in urology, I enjoy indulging my interests in photography, biking, and hiking, taking advantage of the breathtaking natural landscapes Colorado has to offer.
I am excited about the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with experts in the field and contribute to the advancement of urology research and care.
