Colorado NORC Events
The Colorado NORC offers several events throughout the year to facilitate collaborative research and networking. Our annual summer workshop invites investigators nationally and internationally to speak on a nutrition or obesity related topic. The annual NORC Retreat in the fall provides a space for NORC Members to interact and collaborate as well as invites non-NORC members to learn more about the NORC. Lastly, our Appreciation Event in December is for our NORC members only to engage with each other in a relaxed environment. This is also when we announce the year's NORC Award winners.

The Gut Microbiome in Health and Disease

The 2025 Colorado NORC Microbiome Workshop will provide an overview of the association between the gut microbiome and metabolic health outcomes. There will be four main areas covered: Early Life Development, Obesity and Cardio Metabolic Disease, Neural Interactions and Sex Difference, and Effects on Menopause. A reception will follow the program.
