Individuals with PhD, MD, or DO degrees are welcome to apply. During the period of support trainees will have the opportunity to work in mentor-based research with one of the many investigators that do studies using model systems that extend from genetic studies in flies, mechanistic studies in animals and humans to interventional studies in people with type 2 diabetes or obesity and epidemiological studies in populations across the lifespan.
