Colorado NORC Events

The Colorado NORC offers several events throughout the year to facilitate collaborative research and networking. Our annual summer workshop invites investigators nationally and internationally to speak on a nutrition or obesity related topic. The annual NORC Retreat in the fall provides a space for NORC Members to interact and collaborate as well as invites non-NORC members to learn more about the NORC. Lastly, our Appreciation Event in December is for our NORC members only to engage with each other in a relaxed environment. This is also when we announce the year's NORC Award winners.

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR WRITING NIH PROPOSALS

The Colorado NORC and KUMC Center for Children’s Healthy Lifestyles and Nutrition Center will be co-hosting a webinar on “Tips and Tricks for Writing NIH Proposals” on February 18, 2022 at 11 am MST/12pm CST/1pm EST. A panel of NIH K and R study section reviewers will be serving as panelists: Drs. Julie Christianson, Paul MacLean, Lauren Ptomey, and Darleen Sandoval.

This webinar will provide insights into the study section review process and writing proposals with the reviewer in mind.
