Participants had the opportunity to learn about balance training and fall prevention, virtual healthcare, improving sleep, and much more, including meeting Ryan the Robot from the University of Denver.

The 2024 Chaffee County Research Roadshow, in Salida, Colorado, had around 80 total in attendance and featured 11 different research teams. Participants had the opportunity to learn about resources for caregivers, take free hearing tests and cancer screenings, discover local resources from local health partners, and much more.

The 2024 Shalom Park Research Roadshow, in Aurora, Colorado, had around 100 total in attendance and featured 13 different research teams. Participants had the opportunity to learn about fall prevention and recovery, sleeping solutions for PTSD, virtual programs to support caregivers, medication tracking tools, and much more.

The 2024 Rocky Mountain Geriatrics Conference Roadshow, featured as a part of the larger conference hosted at CU Anschutz in Aurora, Colorado, had around 300 total in attendance and featured 18 different research teams. Participants had the opportunity to talk to a social support robot named Ryan the Robot, receive free hearing tests and blood pressure screenings, learn about a nutrition program for cancer survivors, and more.

The 2024 Sterling Research Roadshow, in Logan County, Colorado, had around 100 total in attendance and featured 14 different research teams. Participants had the opportunity to take a virtual dementia tour, learn about access to neurology screenings in rural settings, telehealth options for rural veterans, and more.

The 2023 BeaconFest Research Roadshow, in Grand Junction, Colorado, was the first Research Roadshow hosted for the Center on Aging. Featuring over 100 attendees and 10 research teams, this event set the background for events going forward.
