Francesca Dino is a Research Services Principal Professional at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Francesca supports the University of Colorado Movement Disorders Center’s TOROS Lab under Dr. Ece Bayram, researching behavioral, biological, and environmental risk factors in Parkinson’s and Lewy body dementia. She also contributes to lab outreach and community engagement initiatives.
Previously, Francesca coordinated studies at the CUACC's CSAND Lab under Dr. Peter Pressman, which focused on frontotemporal dementia, primary progressive aphasia, and nonverbal communication in neurodegenerative disease. She also has experience in clinical research compliance and regulatory support.
Francesca holds a B.A. in Biology and Psychology, both with concentrations in Cognitive Neuroscience, and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Denver. She plans to pursue graduate training in neuropsychology and study the intersection of brain science and technology, with a focus on ethical, patient-centered innovation.
In her spare time, Francesca enjoys exploring Colorado's outdoors, reading a good book, and playing the French horn.
