Meet the core clinical and research faculty for the Center for Rare Melanomas:

Clinical Faculty

William Robinson, MD PhD

William Robinson, MD, PhD
Professor- Medical Oncology
Co-Director, Center for Rare Melanomas

Dr. Robinson is a clinical and basic investigator with a laboratory studying the molecular and genetic regulation of melanoma development. This allows him to be on the forefront of new developments and use laboratory derived knowledge to develop new targeted treatments. Dr. Robinson has a particular interest in rare melanomas and is leading the clinical effort to improve care for patients with rare forms of melanoma.

Kasey Couts, PhD
Assistant Research Professor- Medical Oncology
Co-Director, Center for Rare Melanomas

Dr. Couts is a translational research scientist who has focused on investigating melanoma throughout her entire scientific career. More recently, she has been studying the genetics and molecular biology underlying rare melanomas. Dr. Couts has also helped in developing new pre-clinical models of rare melanomas, which are being used to identify the most promising and effective new therapies for rare melanomas.
