The Blau Center for Precision Medicine and Translational Research at the Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center at CU Anschutz provides world-class, multidisciplinary care for individuals and families affected by Blau syndrome, a rare inherited inflammatory disease. Typically diagnosed during the first year of life, Blau syndrome most commonly affects the joints, skin, and eyes, but it can also involve other organ systems, leading to complex, lifelong health challenges.

Our mission is to bridge discovery and patient care by advancing the understanding of Blau syndrome, translating scientific discoveries into precision therapies, and providing coordinated, compassionate care for patients and families worldwide. Through collaboration among specialists in ophthalmology, rheumatology, genetics, and other disciplines, as well as a commitment to research and education, we are working to improve outcomes and quality of life for those living with this rare disease.
