Bio

My name is Alfonso Roque. Prior to joining the HCTU team, I obtained my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in 2021 majoring in Cellular Biology and Neuroscience. There I conducted research studying the proteomics of synaptogenesis in Autism spectrum disorders, swam for the club swim team, and was heavily involved in art therapy for children and hospice patients. Most recently, I completed a Master’s degree program in Medical Sciences at Brown University and moved cross-country to join the team and spend time with my partner and local friends.

Since moving here, I’ve enjoyed hiking in Mesa Verde National Park and attending a Noah Kahan concert at Red Rocks
