The FFCRA is valid from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. The FFCRA grants employees up to 80 hours of additional paid sick leave for COVID-19 related issues, including qualifying changes in dependent care. Qualifying University employees may save money on dependent care by enrolling in a Dependent Care Flexible Savings Account (DCFSA). Individuals may enroll in or adjust contributions to a DCFSA outside of open enrollment as a result of changes in dependent care brought by COVID-19. Follow the links to the right to find if you are a benefits-eligible University employee, and to find qualifying reasons for and instructions for enrolling in or changing your DCFSA.
Due to the uncertainty in dependent care brought by COVID-19, the University of Colorado is offering a premium subscription to Care.com and subsidization for 10 days of emergency dependent care.
