Bio

I grew up in a small town right outside of Pensacola, FL where I spent most of my life before going on to complete my MPH in Epidemiology at UAB in Birmingham, AL. Outside of work, I love backpacking, kayaking and just being immersed in nature. When not in the outdoors I am usually rowing, cooking plant-based meals, reading one of my many books on quantum physics or spending quality time with my partner and my pup. Random fact: I trained/taught Taekwondo for 20 years and have a 3rd degree black belt!
