Alexandra Ellis

Clinical Research Coordinator

Bio

My name is Alexandra; however, I have gone by Lexi for most of my life. I graduated in 2019 from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's in Biological Science with a focus on pre-veterinary medicine. For the first 8 years of my professional life, I worked in animal hospitals as an assistant and technician with intention of obtaining my DVM. In Fall 2024, I will finally be going to veterinary school back at my alma mater, CSU!

Before reapplying to DVM programs, I desired to experience more about the healthcare industry outside of vet-med and see what the human side of medicine had to offer. I joined the HCTU as the Clinical Laboratory Coordinator in 2022. In 2023, I moved onto Clinical Research Coordinator to take on more patient-facing responsibilities.

During my free time, I create. I love painting and drawing and have even started to create epoxy art as well. I also love the mountains and camping with my fur baby, Tucker.
