I have had the good fortune to be able to train and live in different parts of the world. I did my undergraduate degree in Massachusetts (Brandeis University), medical school training in Israel and the United States (Medical School for International Health in collaboration with Columbia University), masters of public health in Maryland (Bloomberg School of Public Health), Internal Medicine residency in New York (Jacobi Medical Center), clinical research fellowship in New York (Montefiore Medical Center), and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship in Colorado (University of Colorado).
I joined the faculty at the University of Colorado (Endocrine division) in 2011 and at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes in 2014. I am the Director of the Pregnancy and Women’s Health Clinic at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, Adult Clinic (https://medschool.cuanschutz.edu/barbara-davis-center-for-diabetes/patient-care/adult-clinic#ac-pregnancy-clinic-3). I conduct clinical trials in therapeutics and advanced technologies in diabetes both in and outside of pregnancy.
