Medical Students

Current students can arrange additional clinical career exploration experiences by submitting information and approval from a preceptor to the Office of Student Life and from the medical student coordinator, Christopher Greig ([email protected])

Medical students are responsible for securing a career exploration experience with a sponsoring faculty member. 

Once a sponsor has agreed to host a career exploration experience, CU medical students must fill out this link to ensure requirements are met:

Planning Your Fourth Year?

Each August, the Department of Dermatology's Education faculty host an evening meeting for all senior students interested in dermatology.

We will be available for students to ask questions about selecting a residency program, preparing a CV, writing a personal statement, and interviewing for a dermatology residency position. We will also share a copy of our University of Colorado Dermatology Residency Preparation Manual.

Prospective dermatology residents are encouraged to contact our current residents directly. See our Residency webpage for our current residents and their pictures! 

Students are also encouraged to contact our Pediatric Dermatology Fellows or our MOHS Fellows, and read their bios on our pages for additional information about their educational backgrounds.
