Adult Dermatology

The Department of Dermatology at Anschutz Medical Campus has a comprehensive clinical program with a highly varied patient population and offers an advanced, multi-disciplinary approach to dermatologic conditions.  Our main Dermatology Clinic is located in the Anschutz Cancer Pavilion and handles 25,000 outpatient visits per year with a focus on general adult dermatology, cutaneous oncology, and procedural dermatology.

Melanoma is the fifth most commonly diagnosed cancer in Colorado. The Department of Dermatology houses a world-renowned melanoma program located in the Anschutz Cancer Pavilion and works in close collaboration with the Division of Medical Oncology within the Department of Medicine.

Our five Adult Dermatology clinics treat not only melanoma and other skin cancers, but also such conditions as genetic skin diseases, lupus, psoriasis, hair loss, contact dermatitis, eczema, acne, pre-cancerous lesions, pigmentary disorders, connective tissue diseases, infections, and disease of hair and nails. Clinical research, including clinical trials, is an integral part of our practice.
