As part of each visual art cohort, a final comprehensive book is made to offer the participants an opportunity to not only personalize the narrative arc of the course, it also serves to document and illustrate the particular thematic message of the community, as built by the participants. Through 12 sequential workshops, our goals are to foster authentic expression, to develop the vulnerability to share it verbally, and finally to create a collaborative artwork that encapsulates the collective message of the group.
