Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry Fellow Physician
Michael Seidman is a Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry fellow at the University of Colorado. He grew up in Oak Park, IL and attended Clark University in Worcester, MA for his undergraduate degree. Before his career in medicine he spent four years in Fukuoka, Japan working as an English teacher and program facilitator for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. He completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at Mills College in Oakland, CA and attended medical school at Rush University in Chicago, IL. He then completed Psychiatry residency at MUSC in Charleston, SC. His research interests include neuromodulation, in particular extending novel therapies such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to transdiagnostic neuropsychiatric populations. In his free time, he enjoys home coffee-roasting, cooking, scuba diving, mushroom foraging, and snowboarding.
