At the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine, research is a big part of how we improve care for women with gynecologic cancers. Our team in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology works every day to discover better ways to diagnose, treat, and support patients, because even small advances can make a meaningful difference.
Clinical trials give patients access to new treatments that are not yet widely available. These studies help us learn which therapies work best, offer new hope for difficult‑to‑treat cancers, and ensure each patient receives the most up‑to‑date care possible. CU Anschutz Gynecologic Oncology leads more clinical trials and research studies than any other gynecologic oncology program in the region, which means our patients can benefit from the latest discoveries right here at home.
We are currently offering clinical trials for many types of gynecologic cancers, including cervical, ovarian, endometrial, vulvar, peritoneal, and fallopian tube cancers. We also take part in studies looking at how lifestyle factors affect cancer risk, recovery, and overall well‑being.
You can explore the clinical trials currently open to our patients below or visit the UCHealth WCDT Clinical Trials website for more information. If you’re interested in learning whether a clinical trial may be right for you, our team is here to help guide you every step of the way.
